It aimed at improving the autonomy of information transactions within a decentralised network to eliminate the time and resources needed for institutional authentication. ‘Satoshi Vision’ (SV) is an approach to blockchain that lowers the operational cost of a block to facilitate micropayments. The SV approach can be applied to the production pipeline of architectural practices through Building Information Modelling (BIM) systems to streamline the distribution of information, work, and cash. SV-BIM coupling may provide connectivity to local independent and small-scale actors (LISAs), incentivise microeconomic exchanges, and help LISAs to organise themselves through the network in real-time. This has the potential to assist the development of an inclusive circular economy by building local socio-economic capacity, increasing productivity, and improving cultural sensitivity in design.</del>

In 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto proposed a peer-to-peer (p2p) system - blockchain. This has the potential to assist the development of an inclusive circular economy by building local socio-economic capacity, increasing productivity, and improving cultural sensitivity in design.

The author first introduces how the support of LISAs can help to develop an inclusive circular economy within the architectural industry. The methodology section describes the desk review and prescriptive study that are conducted for this exploratory design research. In the background section, this paper briefly outlines the present situation for LISAs and BIM using Hong Kong as an example.
